Share the LOVE of Reading: Valentine’s Day Bookmark FREE Printable
My bookworms and I were invited to a toddler Valentine’s Day party at a friend’s home today. It was adorable and chaotic. Preschool Bookworm was the oldest as a brand new three year old, and there were NINE kiddos in attendance. The emotional highs and lows were epic, as is fitting for Valentine’s Day! Ha! But we all had a lovely time.
I took the opportunity to share the love of reading by creating Valentine’s bookmarks and gifting each toddler with a “like new” board book. I thought you, my dear readers, might enjoy seeing the finished products. I hope your Valentine’s Day is a page turner!
They were super easy to create, and I’ll make it even easier for you to recreate by sharing a free printable of the bookmarks!
Print out on your favorite cardstock, hole punch, tie a ribbon, and VOILA!
I used a heart hole punch and double-sided tape to attach name tags to the books since I didn’t want to ruin the bookmarks by attaching them directly to the books. I have a variety of heart shaped hole punches laying around from all of my (many) wedding DIY projects (we got married in a library).
Download the printable in PDF here (with four bookmarks per page). Or, here as a single image (in png format so that the background is transparent, not white).
Happy Valentine’s Day! How are you showing your LOVE for reading this Valentine’s Day?
Melissa
